To maintain comfort, modesty, and respect for all students, we ask that everyone follow these dress guidelines:
Uniform / Training Attire
- Gi (Uniform): A traditional martial arts gi is preferred. Jackets should remain tied and closed at all times.
-No-Gi Training (if applicable): Students may wear rash guards or fitted t-shirts (short or long sleeve) with athletic pants/leggings. Loose tank tops, crop tops, or sleeveless undershirts are not permitted.
Layering for Modesty
-A plain t-shirt, rash guard, or long-sleeve shirt should be worn under the gi jacket.
-Athletic leggings or compression shorts must be worn under gi pants to prevent exposure during training.
General Appearance
-Clothing should be clean, in good repair, and free from offensive logos or images.
- Jewelry, watches, and accessories must be removed for safety.
-Long hair should be tied back securely
Footwear
-Training is barefoot on the mats. Flip-flops, sandals, or slides should be worn to and from the mat area only.
Hygiene
-Students must arrive with clean uniforms, trimmed nails, and good personal hygiene.
